Meet Robinah

Home/Child Advocacy/Meet Robinah

Serving the community of Jinja, we’re constantly reminded of why God called us here and how important His work is. Recently Carol (pictured in black sweater) and Dinah (pictured in checkered blouse), two of our social workers, paid a visit to a very special girl.

Her name is Robinah. And, though she is mentally and physically disabled, and was born into circumstances that make getting adequate care difficult, she always wears a smile on her face. This sweet girl brings joy to everyone who meets her and is a true testament to the joy of the Lord.

We are proud to know Robinah and her family and even more proud to help nurture them physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Robinah doesn’t ask for anything, but a stroll around the village in her wheelchair, a light song to be sung and love. Each day we meet new children and nurture current relationships within the community. Thanks to our child advocates, we are able to share Christ’s love with them and make sure we carry out His greatest commandment: to love the Lord and love our neighbors.
