Staff Highlight: Meet the Aunties!

Home/Africa, Company News/Staff Highlight: Meet the Aunties!

It’s time for another shout out to the awesome folks who keep Wando running!

As you know we have over 20 rambunctious kids who are cared for at our Babies’ Home. In order to ensure we have the proper care being afforded to them, we ensure a healthy balance of caretakers to children. This is where the Aunties come in! They provide that extra support to our full-time mamas so that the mamas don’t have to worry about all the housekeeping duties and be able to purely focus on nurturing the children.

Everyone working together to provide a clean, safe, loving environment.

She is from the Muteso tribe and speaks three languages. When asked about her hobbies, she said:

I just love making people happy all the time.
